Clarksville Museum is located in the historical downtown area, on the corner of Commerce Street and South Second Street. The museum hosts many exhibits in its 25,000 square feet, and includes a permanent exhibit geared for children -The Explorer's Floor. Also there is a model-train exhibit which is open each Sunday, and on other special occasions.

The museum is open 10:00 till 5:00 Tuesday through Saturday, and 1:00 till 5:00 on Sunday (Museum is closed on Monday and in major holidays). Admission is free each Sunday, and is always free for children under 6. Guided tours are available, but must be scheduled in advance.
